WILLIAMSBURG - The William and Mary women's basketball team opens a three-game road swing Sunday afternoon, traveling to UNC Wilmington for a 2 p.m. tipoff.

Scouting the Tribe
William and Mary enters today’s game led by the strong arm of junior guard Taysha Pye, who ranks 29th nationally with 18.6 ppg. She scored a season-high 29 points Thursday against Old Dominion, and added 11 rebounds for her second double-double of the year. Her scoring average is ninth nationally among players with at least one year of eligibility. Kaitlyn Mathieu also scored in double-digits against the Monarchs, scoring 10 points while shooting 2-3 from deep. Senior captain Lindsey Moller played in her 100th career game, and had her seventh game of at least three assists this season.

UNC Wilmington is responding well to the touch of a new coach at the helm, and is tied for the conference lead at 15-4 overall, 7-1 in CAA play. Senior Brittany Blackwell leads the team in both points (15.9) and rebounds per game (8.6), while Alisha Andrews has dished out 90 assists.
