W&M Hosts Old Dominion Thursday in Televised Contest
WILLIAMSBURG - The William and Mary women's basketball team continues its short two-game homestand Thursday night, hosting Old Dominion at 7 p.m. The game will be broadcast live in the Hampton Roads area by Channel 4 WSKY.

Scouting the Tribe
William and Mary is coming off of its first conference win of the year on Sunday, a 69-57 victory over George Mason. The Tribe shot 54.5% in the second half against the Patriots, and was led by 25 points from junior Taysha Pye. It was the 12th consecutive game in double-digits for Pye, who has risen to fourth in the CAA with an average of 17.9 points per game. Emily Correal scored 14 points in the post, and is the team’s leading rebounder at 5.9 rpg. Katherine DeHenzel is the CAA’s second-leading passer, with a 1.5 ATO ratio (1.71 in conference play).
Scouting the Monarchs
Old Dominion is tied for the conference lead at 6-1, and 11-6 overall after beating Towson on Sunday. The win was coach Wendy Larry’s 600th. Jasmine Parker leads the Monarchs in points (13.4), assists (3.7), and steals (3.4), while Tia Lewis (7.3) is the team’s leading rebounder. ODU is ranked second in the nation in three-point defense, allowing opponents to shoot only 22.7% from beyond the arc.
