Director of Basketball Operations Chris Andrews
Chris Andrews joined the William and Mary women's basketball program in the fall of 2010, and will serve as the Director of Basketball Operations during the 2010-11 campaign. His duties with the Tribe will include helping with film exchange, team travel, on-campus recruiting, team promotional activities, and several other administrative responsibilities.
“We are fortunate to have Chris join our staff," said head coach Debbie Taylor. "He brings experience from two different Division 1 programs and is extremely professional, hard working and organized.”
Andrews joins the Tribe after spending two years at Marshall as the Graduate Assistant while pursuing a master's degree in political science. With the Herd, his responsibilities included coordinating the team's film exchange program, assisting with travel in addition to organizing promotional and fundraising events.
Andrews spent his undergraduate years at Michigan State, where he was a four-year member of the women's basketball practice team and coached at several of the Spartan basketball camps. He also has served as a camp coach for five years at Oakland University, as well as helping at the Tennessee women's basketball camp in the summer of 2008. In 2009, Andrews was a men's basketball coach on the Athletes in Action trip to Colombia.
Andrews graduated in 2008 from Michigan State with a degree in urban and regional planning. He received his master of the arts degree in 2010 from Marshall, where he studied in the political science program with a concentration in public administration.
