Spencer Milne, Director of Marketing, Promotion and Ticket Operations

Spencer Milne was promoted to Director of Marketing, Promotion and Ticket Operations in 2010 after spending the previous four years as the Director of Ticket Operations. Milne launched the Tribe’s new dynamic ticketing system, TicketReturn, which has significantly improved the ticket office’s ability to serve fans and alumni.
Milne came to W&M from Florida Atlantic University, where he had been the Owls’ director of ticket operations since January of 2005. Prior to Florida Atlantic, he was an assistant in the ticket office at Wake Forest from July of 2004 through December of 2005. Before that, Milne worked in the ticket office at Ohio University, as he earned his master’s degrees in business administration (2003) and sports administration (2004).
Milne graduated from Ohio University in 2001 with a bachelor’s degree in sports industry and a minor in business administration. After earning his degree, he worked for one year as a facilities and operations intern at Southern Methodist University. Milne also has experience as a promotions and operations intern with Major League Soccer’s D.C. United.
Milne and his wife, Lisa, reside in Toano. The couple welcomed their first child a son, William David, on March 7, 2010.
